2024-2025 School Supply List

House announcement: We will be wearing our House shirts on Friday of this week, instead of Thursday. Students are encouraged to wear their house shirt and as much of their house color that they want. We will be presenting the House Cup to the house with the most points for the year.
Monday, May 20- The winning house for 2nd semester will be going to Atomic Pinball.
Tuesday, May 21- The winning house for the year will be going to Edison's and Edwardsville Township Park.
Permission slips will be sent home at the end of the week.

It was an honor and a privilege to recognize our family members and friends who have fought and won, are still fighting, or have lost their fight with cancer. Our students raised over $400 to donate to the American Cancer Society by selling luminary bags to display during our assembly this morning. As always, our students showed amazing character, support, and encouragement for the individuals who were recognized. Thank you, Mrs. Russell, for all of your hard work to organize this event.

Parents/Guardians,
This is a reminder that tomorrow, May 9, is an 11:20 dismissal for school improvement.
Thank you
Dave Oestreich | Principal

Parents/Guardians,
Please open the link below to learn how your child can get an ENTRY TICKET to attend the dance this Friday. If a child shows up without a ticket, he/she cannot attend. If your child needs a paper copy of the document to complete before the dance, have him/her stop by the JH office.
Thanks,
David Oestreich

RJHS Parents,
Linked above is our parent letter for this year's 8th-grade promotional ceremony. Please accept my apologies. I thought I had sent it out through our software early last week, but discovered I had made an error and it did not go through, so I am sending it out again this evening.
As always, call the office with any questions about the ceremony. We look forward to seeing all of our students dressed up on May 28!
Yours in education,
David Oestreich
RJHS Principal

Good news! All schools now have internet access, and the phone service to South Primary is restored. Thank you for your patience. We appreciate the prompt response time of our providers.

Good morning. Like many others in our area, we are experiencing an internet outage. All internal systems are working; however, the district is currently unable to receive outside email communications. South Primary is unable to take incoming calls due to an AT&T outage. All other buildings have phone service. Please contact the main line at 618-254-7541 for any communications for South Primary. We apologize for this inconvenience. We will send additional notifications when services are restored.

Congratulations to the following band members who performed Saturday at Madison County:
Taylor Rich, Dylon Colcloasure, Mason Seniour, Ethan Branch, Dominik Gillson, Reily Hutchinson, Cash McGiffin, Brady Rahn, Elizabeth Vazquez, Autumn Kramer, Annie Leach, and Camden Johnston.
