Roxana School District Board of Education

A seven-member Board of Education is responsible for setting the policies of the district.  Board members, who receive no pay for their work, are elected to four-year terms.  The Roxana School District Board of Education meets on the third Thursday of each month to conduct the official business of the district.  The Board welcomes and encourages citizens to attend the board meetings.

The Roxana Community unit School District No. 1 is committed to help students develop academically socially, emotionally, and physically. Students will be given encouragement to develop positive self-esteem, to show respect for others, to acquire the skills to participate productively in society and to make a life-long commitment to learning.
