You may begin picking up invitations to invite people to the Mini Relay for Life that are cancer survivors or fighting cancer from Mrs. Russell.  The Mini Relay will be on Thursday, May 15th and RSVPs are due by noon on Tuesday, May 13th.   The first day Luminary Bags may be purchased is Monday, May 5th.  They can be purchased by the concession stand from 7:30-8:00 that morning, or in the Commons during your lunch time.  Cost for each luminary bag is $5.  You may purchase one or more luminary bags to honor someone that has passed away that had cancer, someone that is a cancer survivor, or someone that is currently fighting cancer.  When you purchase a bag, you have the option of bringing in a photo of that person so that it can be displayed in a slide show presentation the day of the Relay.  Your photo will be scanned and your original returned to you.  Email Mrs. Russell with any questions you may have.

Any Student Council Member that signed up to work the Spring Carnival on May 7th, the Carnival is at South Primary School NOT at Central Intermediate School,  If you signed up to work this, and this change means that you cannot work it now, please email Mrs. Russell immediately.   Otherwise, if you are still planning to work, be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Higdon with details about working the event.  Sorry for the confusion and thank you for donating your time!
