Announcement

Happy Birthday to Jaxson McBride.

Attention all 6th and 7th grade students: Yearbook is looking for talented individuals that are organized and dependable, and can commit to staying after school for several meetings.  If you are interested in being on the yearbook committee next year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Jones.  We look forward to creating with you!

There will be a student council meeting next Tuesday, April 15th after school in Mrs. Russell's room. It will be over at 3:30.  If you can't attend, please look at the notes from the meeting in Google Classroom after 3:30, so you can see what all we discussed and if you need to email Mrs. Russell with things you want to sign up for to earn your spring semester points. We will be discussing the Mini Relay for Life and the Spring Dance.

Game Club will be Thursday after school in Ms. Witt’s room.

Students: Tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday we will be State testing. Your attendance on those days is very important. We are offering an incentive for perfect attendance. If you are here all three days, your name will be placed in a drawing to pie a teacher in the face. Or, you can pie Mr. Oestreich or Mrs. Brannon in the face, but you must be here ALL THREE DAYS.

Also, teachers will be giving your 5 House points for each test that you take IF you exhibit good testing behavior. They are looking for things like: did you take your time and use the time given to you, did you answer all the questions, did you remain quiet so you were not a distraction to your fellow classmates. If you get all 25 points, your name will be entered in a drawing for gift cards to places like: Taco Bell, Sonic, Amazon, and Target.

State IAR Testing is very important to our school. This is your time to shine and show us what you know. We want to reward as many students as possible for trying their best and working hard on each test.
