Announcement

Happy Birthday to Falynn Doolen and Lenn Doolen.

The Blue Light Special for March is your choice of soda & candy for 250 points. The form has been emailed to all students. The form must be completed by the end of the day tomorrow if you would like to buy the blue light special.

Musical Auditions are today after school in the auditorium. Make sure you have a ride home after you complete your audition.

March poll questions have been sent out.  They will be in an email from Mrs. Jones.  Please take a couple minutes to answer them.  Advisory is a great time to get those completed.  The newspaper club appreciates your support!

Shell Shack is open today. All students will shop during their lunch if they have money. Students, when you finish eating and clean up your area, you just need to ask Mrs. Brannon to shop. If you have money, you will be allowed to go. If you purchase putty or slime, it needs to remain in your locker and taken home at the end of the day. Teachers do not want it in the classroom.

Respect Week Announcements- Savannah Cline and Sophia Coles

Be “Fearless” Era

Today we are talking about Angelman Syndrome and working to be fearless! Angelman Syndrome is very rare, affecting only 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 24,000 births in the United States. It is a genetic syndrome that primarily affects the nervous system. People with Angelman Syndrome have developmental delays, intellectual disability and speech impairment. Many people with Angelman Syndrome smile and laugh often.

While we are in our “fearless” era today, what can you do to make a change in your classroom, school or home? Can you suggest a small change or stand up for yourself or others to spread inclusion?

Today’s Unified fact of the day is that whole school engagement opportunities like participating in Respect Week bring your school community together to celebrate inclusion, friendship, and belonging. When the whole school community comes together to celebrate, great things can happen.
