Daily Announcements

Good morning Shells! Today is Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,

and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Welcome Back!

Seniors- Next Wednesday, April 23rd during 2nd hour, the Yearbook Staff would like to take a Class of 2025 picture in the large gym. Please wear your senior shirt or a red shirt. Go to 2nd hour for attendance and then you will be released to the large gym.

A huge congratulations goes out to our State Qualifiers in Journalism, Meredith Pitchford for Yearbook Design and Jacey Humphries for Photography Storytelling. These ladies will compete at State on Friday! Way to go!

Attention juniors and seniors! Prom tickets are available for purchase until this Friday, April 25th. These can be purchased before or after school in Mrs.Royse’s classroom. The cost is $25.00 per person and can be paid by cash or a check made payable to RHS. To pay with a card, you will need to scan the QR code that can be found in several places around the building.

Prom Guest Forms are now available in the High School Office. Guest form requests must be turned in by this Friday, April 25th at 3:00pm. These forms required a guest’s driver’s license and a signature from their school, so do not wait until the last minute. Any students who are on Social Probation and want to attend Prom must have a meeting with Mr. Dandurand or Mr. Miller prior to the same deadline of April 25th.

Seniors,

As you finalize your college plans, those of you who have taken dual credit courses will need to send your college transcripts to the college you will attend.  Transcript request links and more info were emailed to you yesterday.

And don't forget to request that your final RHS transcript be sent to your college, once grades are official at the end of the semester.  You can do this through your Parchment account.

All of Ms. Hanneken’s Biology II students that turned in their permission slips should eat A lunch today. After lunch they should report directly to the high school's main entrance to take attendance and load materials onto the bus.  Walmart is expecting us from noon to 2pm.  Students that did not turn in a field trip form will go to lunch and classes like they normally would do.

ROX STARS: The following students and staff received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:

The lunch menu for today includes:

Mandarin Orange Chicken, Fluffy Rice, Steamed Broccoli, Fortune Cookie

Wed: Nachos Supreme, Cheesy Pinto Beans, Cauliflower Poppers

Thur: Spaghetti and Meatsauce and Steamed Carrots

Fri: Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap and Oven Baked Potato Wedges

Students, at this time, your cellphones should be docked in your classrooms and your backpacks in your lockers.

Make it a great day, Shells!
