RHS will adhere to the following academic expectation during the final week of the 2024-25 first semester:
ROXANA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Final Exam/Submission of Evidence Schedule: 2024-2025 - First Semester
DAY 1: Wednesday, December 18, 2024
Period 1: 7:50 - 9:00 a.m.
Period 2: 9:10 - 10:20 a.m.
Period 3: 10:30 - 11:40 a.m.
All students are dismissed at 11:40 a.m. Students waiting for district transportation may have lunch from 12:20 - 12:50 p.m.
DAY 2: Thursday, December 19, 2024
Period 4: 7:50 - 9:00 a.m.
Period 5: 9:10 - 10:20 a.m.
All students are dismissed at 10:20 a.m. Students waiting for district transportation may have lunch from 11:25 - 11:55 a.m.
DAY 3: Friday, December 20, 2024
Period 6: 7:50 - 9:00 a.m.
Period 7: 9:10 - 10:20 a.m.
All students are dismissed at 10:20 a.m. Students waiting for district transportation may have lunch from 11:25 - 11:55 a.m.
Students are not allowed to take final exams earlier than the designated schedule without admin and teacher approval.
Early Bird finals will be administered at the teacher’s discretion (see teacher for details).
Students are not permitted to be in the hallways while final exams are in session. No passes are to be issued during final exams.
Attendance is mandatory for all students during the hour their exam is scheduled.
Students are prohibited from being on the South, Central, and Junior High campuses after dismissal during the final exam days.
The Media Center will be open during final exam days for students to study.
There will be no early bus transportation. Students remaining at school without transportation must remain in the cafeteria or Student Center until the regular dismissal time at 2:40 p.m. on 12/18 & 12/19 and until 1:40 p.m. on 12/20.
All materials for semester classes must be turned in on the final exam day or prior.
Winter Break: December 23 - January 3
Students will return to school for the start of second semester on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
