Good morning Shells! Today is Monday, November 4th, 2024.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Congratulations to our boys cross country team for finishing 4th at Saturday’s sectional meet and advancing to IHSA State this weekend. This is the second year in a row that the boys team have been regional champs and advanced to State. Wyatt Doyle earned All-Sectional honors by placing 10th overall. Great work, Wyatt!
Gianna Stassi and Bailey Schallenberg-Decker advanced to State on the girls side. The girls team placed 9th overall in a very tough sectional.
Congratulations to our boys and girls teams. We will have a state send off hall crawl on Thursday.
Today is mock election day. During first period, you will view a video with two of our own students impersonating Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. In the video, you will learn where the candidates stand on a few of the issues that concern voters. During second and third periods, you will be called to the auditorium to cast your vote. Only registered voters may participate in our mock election. Results will be announced later today. Teachers, the link to the video was in the Monday Memo.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Lagoon’d! You put on outstanding shows this weekend and all of your hard work over the past months showed. Great job!
