Good morning Shells! Today is Monday, October 28th, 2024.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Today marks the start of Red Ribbon Week. This year’s theme is “Life is a movie, film drug free” so get your outfits ready:
Monday: Students who partake in red ribbon week pledge to grow up safe, healthy and drug free. Tomorrow's theme is Drugs Can’t See Us, so wear Camo!
Today, during lunch, come to the Student Council table and sign your name to our chain. Show your commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and show how we are linked together in this important cause.
And, don’t forget! If you have a Drug-Free Poster for our contest on Wednesday, take it to Mrs. Lish in Room 200. There will be a prize for the winner!
It was a big weekend for Roxana Athletics. Congratulations to our boys cross country who are back to back regional champions after Saturday’s win. The boys will now compete Saturday in Benton for the sectional title. Great work.
Our girls cross country team also qualified for the sectional next week and Gianna Stassi played 5th in the regional. Great job, girls and congratulations to Coach Scamihorn and Coach Akal.
