Welcome to Homecoming Week!
A reminder that we have made a few changes to this week’s schedule. Due to the weather forecast, we are moving the spirit games to Thursday, so wear your class colors on Thursday, and Dress as your Younger Self on Friday!
Teachers don’t forget to record the number of your students who have dressed up today.
The Homecoming Coronation and Dance will be on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 beginning at 7:00 P.M. DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 P.M in LARRY MILAZZO GYM. The dance will end at 10:00pm.
Tickets will be on Sale Today and Thursday this week in the morning before school in Room 209 and in the Commons at lunch. Student tickets are for both Coronation and the Dance and cost $12.00 each.
Homecoming Week days have changed due to the forecasted weather. The days are as follows:
Today: Everything Music. Wear anything music, such as your favorite band or artist, or your favorite decade, genre, or era of music.
Thursday: Class Color Day with the Homecoming Pep Rally and Games in the afternoon. The Parade and Community Pep Rally will take place in the evening.
Friday: Dress as your younger self. Wear an outfit you once wore with a picture of your younger self pinned to an article of clothing.
Today is the last push for the Recycling Plastic Bag Homecoming Competition which ends today. Juniors are still in the lead! It’s time to lock in RHS! The winning class will be announced during the prep rally on Friday.
Science Club is selling mardi gras beads- 2 necklaces for $1.00. These may be purchased from Ms. Hanneken, room A100, during passing periods this week.
The lunch menu for today includes:
Mandarin Orange Chicken, Rice, Garlicky Green Beans, Fortune Cookie
Students, at this time, your cellphones should be docked in your classrooms and your backpacks in your lockers.
