As you may know, the next election is coming up soon. If you turn 18 on or before November 5, you will be eligible to vote, but… you first have to be registered. Roxana High School will be having a voter registration drive today during A and B lunches. If you would like to register at that time, please make sure you have two forms of id with you with one preferably being your driver's license. If you forgot your forms of id, still stop by to get a QR code to finish your registration at a later date.
The Homecoming Coronation and Dance will be on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 beginning at 7:00 P.M. DOORS OPEN AT 6:30 P.M in LARRY MILAZZO GYM. The dance will end at 10:00pm.
Tickets will be on Sale Tuesday, 9/24 – Thursday, 9/26 in the morning before school in Room 209 and in the Commons at lunch.
Student tickets are for both Coronation and the Dance and cost $12.00 each.
Homecoming Guest Forms are now available in the Main Office. Guest forms are due Monday, September 23rd by 3:30pm. All guest forms need to be signed by the guest and their school’s principal, so do not wait until the last day, pick up your form on the Main Office today.
Any students interested in being part of Academic Challenge, also known as the ACES team, please check your email for a note from Mrs. Yates. The goal of Academic Challenge is to acquaint high school students with the course content and the level of competition that they will experience upon entering a science or engineering curriculum at the college or university level. if you are interested in being part of the Academic Challenge (ACES) team this year, please reach out to Mrs. Yates. There will be a meeting the first week of October.
There is an FCA meeting this Wednesday before the half day 7:00-7:40 a.m. There will be games, food, and a lesson.
See You at the Pole is also coming up on Sept 25th starting at 7:00a.m. Donuts and Milk will be provided and Racheal & Co coffee and other treats will be available for purchase as well.
Science Club will meet after school today until 3:20. We will be preparing our Homecoming float.
