Daily Announcements

Good morning Shells! Today is Wednesday, May 15th, 2024.

Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,

and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

If you are interested in being a Student Ambassador for next school year, please see Mr. Miller or Mr. Dandurand. Student Ambassadors’s biggest job is helping with Springboard to Success, our Freshmen Orientation. This is a great way to gain leadership skills and looks great on a resume and scholarship applications.

The Final Exam Exemption List has been printed. You can find the exemption list outside the main office. If you see your name in green, that means you are exempt from finals. If your name is in yellow, you are exempt from some finals, but not all due to your grade in one or more classes. If your name is in white, you will need to take final exams.

Attention Juniors! Congratulations! RHS is so proud of your hard work and accomplishments on the SAT this year that we want to reward you! On Monday, May 20, we will be hosting an outside field day / hangout for any junior interested in attending during 6th and 7th periods on the soccer field. We will have kickball, snacks, and fun and games. If you are interested in attending, you will check in with Ms. Turley on the soccer field and sign in for attendance purposes. If you do not wish to attend, you will continue your normal 6th and 7th hour schedule.

The Senior Graduation Walk is today, starting at 12:00 followed by graduation practice at 1:30. All graduates should report to the Auxiliary Gym at 1:30pm.

Today is an RTI Wednesday. If students have a C or better in all of your classes, you may leave at 1:30pm. If you do NOT have a C or better you are required to stay in your Advisory from 1:35-2:40pm. This is a great time to stay if you need to retake or make up any work.

Students interested in helping with the garden over the summer and earning community service hours should email Ms. Hanneken.

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:

  • Wyatt Doyle

Make it a great day, Shells!
