Good morning Shells! Today is Wednesday, February 7th, 2024.
Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Today, let’s reflect on these words by Desmond Tutu: “My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.” I think we should give that a try.
Did you realize that valentine’s day is just around the corner? If you want to surprise someone special, Student Council is selling ring-pop candy grams in the commons during lunch on Thursday, Friday, and Monday. They will be delivered on Valentine’s day.
Juniors, don’t forget to sign up for the SAT prep sessions on Wednesdays during Advisory (1:40 - 2:40) until the exam on March 21. We will be going over some tips and tricks, as well as exploring resources you can use to prepare. See Ms. Turley to sign up or if you need more information.
Today is Club Picture Day! Please see the schedule posted around school and in your email inbox. Pictures will be in the large gym.
Senior Superlative pictures are also today. If you were voted for a superlative, you received a schedule in your email. Please contact Mrs. Schrewe if you have any questions.
Shells, this is the last week to vote for faculty superlatives and to add your song to your grade level playlist. Both Google forms are in your inbox. Email Mrs. Schrewe with any questions. Voting ends Friday!
Today is an Organization/Club/Team Meeting Wednesday. All students are required to stay until 2:40 this Wednesday. Students, if you have not already, please complete the Google form and indicate what club or team meeting you will be attending or which Study Hall you will choose. The Google Form is in your inbox this morning.
ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe:
Dylan Vandiver
Nick Newton
Noah West
Joe Whetzel
Mrs. Coles
Tonight is girls basketball Senior Night. The recognition of Seniors will take place around 6:25. Tonight all students can come to the game for free with no ticket charge. Let's pack the stands for our girls team tonight just like we did last night.
A special shout out to the REEF which included so many students AND staff last night. That’s the type of culture we are creating at RHS with students and staff supporting one another in and out of the classroom.
Make it a great day, Shells!
