Daily Announcements

Good morning Shells! Today is Tuesday, October 24th.

Please stand for a moment of silence after the Pledge of Allegiance.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America,

and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

This is day two of Red Ribbon Week. Did you know that Alcohol keeps new brain cells from growing? Young people who drink alcohol can find it harder to learn and remember things. Today, if you find a Red Ribbon around the school, make sure to take it to Ms. Palmer in the attendance office to claim your treat

FCA will hold their next meeting this Thursday, Oct 26, at 7AM in the Co-Lab. Milk and donuts will be provided. Join us for a time of fellowship and conversation!

Just a friendly reminder that the Student Center is for Seniors only during lunch. If you are not a senior, you need to eat and stay in the Commons.

Seniors, this Thursday is your Senior Class Panoramic Picture. Wear your Senior Shirt or red that day for the photo. You will be dismissed to the Large Gym after the Jostens Assembly.

Mark your calendars. Are you looking for something to do on your half day Thursday? History club is sponsoring a showing of The Crucible in the auditorium at 4 o’clock. You don’t have to be in history club to attend. It’s like going to the movies for free.

Godfrey Park and Rec is looking for soccer officials and officials for other sports. If you are interested in becoming an official for soccer and other sports in Godfrey, please pick up an application in the main office.

A reminder that we will be conducting a school safety drill during 2nd hour today.

ROX STARS: The following students received recognition as a ROX STAR recently. If you receive a ROX STAR Nomination, please come to the office this morning to pick up a ticket for a free item from the Cafe.
