The Student Center and Cafe will be OPEN for seniors to eat and sit starting today. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may purchase coffee or snacks in the cafe, but must eat in the Commons.
A reminder to come cheer on the Junior vs Senior girls at the Powder Puff Game on Saturday Night October 7th. Gates open at 6:30pm and the game begins at 7.Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students. Concessions will be available including Coach Lawrence's famous jambalaya. This is a fundraiser for the After Prom so come out and show your support!
Speaking of football, we have a message from The REEF: This Friday night is a huge home football game vs. Breese Central. The theme will be BLACKOUT. The football team is wearing their black uniforms and we are wanting to get all fans (students, parents and families) to wear black to the game Friday night. Kickoff is at 7pm. This game will determine the conference championship and we would love to see a huge crowd Friday night.
There will be a high school boys basketball meeting today for all high school boys interested in playing basketball this winter. The meeting will take place in the Larry Milazzo Gymnasium at 2:20 pm. Please see Coach Briggs if you have any questions.
Students and teachers, there is a national test of the federal Emergency Alert System today at 1:20pm. We expect that all cellphones and other devices will buzz or make some type of noise at 1:20pm today. Please plan accordingly for this National test of the Emergency Alert System.
Today is an SEL Wednesday. All students will remain at school through Advisory period and all students will dismiss at 2:40pm.
