High School Humanities
The Humanities Division consists of many subjects; it is not limited to just one area. Social science, history, band, choir, and art are all represented within the division.
NEWS
The Humanities Division would like to salute and thank Mrs. Cindy Welker for her 20 years and service at Roxana. Mrs. Welker was able to teach many things at Roxana High School, and she was an important part of the Humanities Division. She taught many history classes, college classes, and art classes as they were needed throughout the years; her schedule was never the same from year to year! Cindy was a dance coach, cheerleading coach, National Honor Society sponsor, and served on many committees during her time.
Cindy is retiring to Florida to be closer to her daughter (and Disney World!) and looks forward to her new life. One of her new roles in retirement will be as “grandma” this coming fall!
